This form is for registration to participate in an academic visiting programme organised by the Global China Academy (GCA).

This programme is designed to support academic exchange and institutional engagement in line with GCA’s academic and social missions. It provides structured access to the Academy’s academic network, including engagement with GCA Fellows and participation in relevant academic activities.

Standard Academic Visiting Programme £2,430 / 7 days (indicative baseline programme, minimum of three participants)

This programme provides structured access to the Academy’s academic environment and network, including selected activities and engagement with GCA Fellows. Includes:

• issuance of invitation letters
• arrangement of academic and related activities based on participants’ interests
• accompanying interpreter support where required
• local transportation
• accommodation at the GCA Fellows’ Home (subject to availability; alternative arrangements can be made if required at additional cost)

The programme does not include international airfare or personal expenses outside the agreed itinerary during the stay in the UK.

Programmes may be tailored in duration (typically 3–7 days) and content according to specific academic or institutional needs.

Enhanced Academic Engagement Programme (£3,200–£3,800)

This programme builds on the Standard level and includes:

• meetings with GCA Fellows or affiliated scholars
• participation in selected academic discussions or seminars
• tailored academic introductions (where appropriate)

Institutional Partnership Programme (£5,000+)

Designed for institutions seeking sustained academic engagement and collaboration. Includes everything in Enhanced, plus:

• co-designed academic programme
• participation in Global China Dialogue–related activities (where applicable)
• institutional-level engagement and follow-up coordination
• priority access to GCA academic resources and networks
