About the author

宋连谊博士 (Lianyi Song)，英国伦敦大学亚非学院中国与内亚文化和语言系高级讲师；亚非学院中国研究院和翻译中心成员。在英国获得教育学博士学学位前后从事对外汉语教学20 多年。他教授的课程包括：中文、高级中文、商务中文，汉译英等；研究兴趣为中文教学法、话语分析和中文应用语言学。其汉语教学著述包括《普通话自学入门》《十天会说普通话》《自信地说普通话》《普通话初学者》《普通话会话》，以及《中文读写脚本》等。

Dr Lianyi Song, Principal Teaching Fellow, China & Inner Asia Section, Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures; Academic Staff, SOAS China Institute, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. His taught courses includes Chinese, advanced Chinese, Chinese for Business, Chinese-English translation. His research interests includes Chinese language pedagogy, discourse analysis, applied linguistics in Chinese.
