The final section includes references, appendices, and bilingual information from the Global Century Publishing House. They are all provided in both English and Chinese, but their nature is distinct.
The references comprise the English and Chinese literature that the author used during their research, with content that varies between them.
The appendices include:
- A distribution table of reports about “low carbon” in mainstream newspapers from China, the UK, and the US from 2000 to 2014.
- Co-occurring words related to the “low carbon economy” in the People’s Daily during three phases.
- Search lines for “low carbon economy” in the People’s Daily.

- Search lines for “low carbon economy” in mainstream US newspapers.
- Premier Wen Jiabao’s speech at the leaders’ meeting of the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference.
The dual language information is a service and feature provided by GCP, which includes a summary of the book, author’s biography, table of contents, this book and other books in this series. The content in both Chinese and English is identical. The only difference is that if the table of contents of a book is in Chinese at the front, the English table of contents are listed in the dual languge section.
