本章收集了《人民日报》2000 年 1 月 1 日—2014 年 12 月 31 日含有“低碳”一词的所有文章，共计 3，787，313 字，旨在观察该报对低碳概念的建构，以及它所反映的中国在应对全球气候变化中所采取的行动、政策导向，以及低碳话语在媒体、政府、百姓之间的互动中的意义，这些意义对推动低碳经济的发展所起到的作用。我们按年建成一个文档，统计出每年该报对低碳的报道的总篇数，从而观察《人民日报》15 年来媒体对低碳话题的关注的分布情况以及当中的重要节点。
This chapter has collected all articles from the People’s Daily that contain the term ‘low-carbon’ from January 1, 2000, to December 31, 2014, totaling 3,787,313 characters. The aim is to observe the paper’s construction of the low-carbon concept, as well as the actions and policy orientations reflected by the paper regarding China’s response to global climate change. Additionally, it examines the significance of the low-carbon discourse in the interactions among the media, government, and the public, and the role these significances play in promoting the development of a low-carbon economy. We created a document by year and counted the total number of reports on low-carbon by the paper each year. This helps us observe the distribution of media attention to the low-carbon topic in People’s Daily over 15 years and identify significant moments within that period.
