《社科汉语研究》2025年第4期在延续“社科、汉语与研究”三条主线的基础上，对栏目设置和出版形式进行了进一步拓展。本期设“教坛论文”“学生习作”“名家科研译介”“社群建设”和“双语融合”五个栏目。其中，前三个栏目是较为标准的期刊栏目，“社群建设”和“双语融合”为新增栏目。“社群建设”的创新主要在于关注学术社群、平台与合作实践。前四个栏目刊载的均为带有英汉双语元素的中文文章。

“双语融合”栏目则是教学、科研与出版的跨界实践，旨在将环球世纪出版社原创的双语融合出版 Integrated Dual-Language Publishing（IDLP）应用于本刊的编辑出版实践。该栏目包括内容对等的中文版和英文版，两个版本均分为两个部分：第一部分“本刊双语融合信息”由作者和编者共同参与，按照统一规范呈现本刊及本期的相关中英文信息；第二部分“本社双语融合及相关信息”由出版社提供，为作者、编者、编辑、译者和读者提供双语融合出版的理念、规范及相关信息。

制作“双语融合”英文版的目的，是使英语世界的读者能够了解本刊及本期内容。同时，它体现了不同于一般 bilingual 或 dual-language 出版的融合式双语呈现，以促进知识的跨语言传播与共享。

为便于读者理解和使用这一新的出版结构，本期采用两层目录：本期总目录呈现全刊的栏目及内容结构；“双语融合”栏目另设内部目录，进一步展开“本刊双语融合信息”和“本社双语融合及相关信息”两个部分。两层目录分别承担全刊导航和栏目内部导航的功能，并非内容重复。

本期还首次为中文“征稿启事”配置独立 DOI，并设置中文版和英文版，使征稿信息能够作为可识别、可检索和可引用的内容得到更广泛传播，从而扩大本刊的作者和读者群体，并吸引更多作者关注和投稿。

Volume 4 (2025) of Journal of Chinese for Social Science builds on its three continuing strands—“Social Science, Chinese Language and Research”—while further expanding its section structure and publishing format. This volume comprises five sections: “Teacher Research”, “Student Academic Writing”, “Translation and Introduction of Leading Scholars’ Research”, “Academic Community Building”, and “Integrated Dual-Language Publishing”. The first three are relatively standard journal sections, while “Academic Community Building” and “Integrated Dual-Language Publishing” are newly introduced. The innovation of “Academic Community Building” lies primarily in its focus on academic communities, platforms and collaborative practices. The first four sections contain Chinese-language articles with Chinese–English bilingual elements.

The “Integrated Dual-Language Publishing” section is a cross-boundary practice spanning teaching, research and publishing. It aims to apply Integrated Dual-Language Publishing (IDLP), originally developed by Global Century Press, to the journal’s editorial and publishing practice. The section comprises equivalent Chinese and English versions, each divided into two parts. Part 1, “Integrated Dual-Language Publishing Information about the Journal and the Current Volume”, is jointly prepared by authors and editors and presents relevant Chinese and English information about the journal and the current volume according to a unified set of conventions. Part 2, “Integrated Dual-Language Publishing and Related Information from Global Century Press”, is provided by Global Century Press and offers authors, editors, translators and readers relevant information on the philosophy and conventions of Integrated Dual-Language Publishing.

The purpose of producing an English edition of the “Integrated Dual-Language Publishing” section is to enable readers in the English-speaking world to understand the journal and the contents of the current volume. At the same time, it represents an integrated form of dual-language presentation that differs from conventional bilingual or dual-language publishing, with the aim of facilitating the cross-language dissemination and sharing of knowledge.

For the first time, this volume also assigns an independent DOI to the Chinese “Call for Papers” and provides both Chinese and English editions. This enables the Call for Papers to circulate more widely as identifiable, searchable and citable content, thereby broadening the journal’s author and readership base and attracting greater attention and submissions from prospective authors.
